Interview with CutiePie Marzia

Hailing from Italy, CutiePieMariza isn’t your average style vlogger. She loves watching horror films, shows you what’s cooking and even documents Puga’s – her dog – antics. In just a year, her channel gained more than 800,000 subscribers and continues to grow. From her DIYs to her adorable kawaii style, we can understand why she has such a huge fan base – we love her just as much! Check out her { favorite Asian iCandy pieces } after our Q&A with the cutie pie herself. Don't miss her namesake sweater.

Describe your style in three words.

Bon-ton, vintage and playful. It wasn't easy for me to define my style because it's constantly changing, even if in a subtle way, but those 3 words are the ones that works best at the moment.

What inspired or motivated you to start your YouYube Channel (VLOG)?

I wanted to be able to share my passions with people all over the world, and Youtube seemed the best way. Two people essentially inspired me to create my own channel: my boyfriend, that showed me how fun YT could be, and Jenn Im (from Clothesencounters) that was the first fashion “youtuber” that I have ever watched.

Do you blog full-time? When you’re not blogging, how do you spend your time?

Youtube became my full-time job once I reached a good amount of subscribers. I honestly love it and I wouldn’t want to do anything else right now, since it’s not only something that I love to do but it gives me the opportunity to meet many amazing people and travel all around the world. But for how adventourous my job could seem, I’m a pretty quiet and simple person and I love staying by myself, watching a horror movie or reading a good book.

What’s your favorite thing about living in Italy?

The landscape. No matter where you are, you will always see historical buildings or a breathtaking panorama.

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?

Hmmm…this is tough. Being italian I love food, so I would probably have to go with “bruschetta”, an italian dish really similar to pizza but with a different type of bread.

If you could go on a dream vacation, where would you travel?

Japan, for sure! I have always dreamed of going there and experiencing the culture…nothing intrigues me more at the moment.

Who's your favorite actress?

I would pick Jessica Stroup: she is a great actress, I admire her taste in fashion and she seems really down to earth.
